A CoolPeel® laser treatment can only be done using the Tetra CO2 laser. The Tetra CO2 laser removes the top layer of damaged skin tissue and stimulates the regeneration of healthy skin underneath. A full-face CoolPeel® takes 5-15 minutes.

CoolPeel® treatments don't require anesthesia or local numbing. However, a numbing cream can be applied if you prefer.

A CoolPeel causes minimal downtime. Expect to see some redness (similar to a mild sunburn) for a day or two. As your skin heals, it may feel dry and scaly so be sure to keep your skin hydrated. But nothing should prevent your return to normal daily activities.
